Decision to Postpone Proposal Submission: Rationale and Future Roadmap

After internal Council discussions, we have decided to delay our next proposal submission. Below is a detailed overview of the reasons and our forward approach:

The successful launch of the Fragment Expansion website and the completion of the first round of activities—made possible with the invaluable support of our artists—marks a new stage in our initiative. Moving forward, our roadmap will be divided into two tracks: the Technical Roadmap and the Ideological Roadmap.

1. Technical Roadmap

Building on the current website, we will continue the Fragment Expansion rounds under Mr. Misang’s curation. Since we are still in the early phases, a full-fledged community has not yet formed. Until a stable community emerges, Fragment Expansion will remain under Council oversight. During this period, the Council will focus on key responsibilities, including marketing, medium- to long-term strategy development, and direct communications with artists (such as interviews). This approach will help prepare us for the project’s final stage.

2. Ideological Roadmap

The current website is independent of Web3 technology and designed to expand Fragment Expansion as a light, accessible concept. However, it lacks functionalities needed for the project’s final phase. To address this, we will refine these requirements through ongoing website operations. Based on these specifications, we plan to build a new Web3-integrated website for the final stage.

This new platform will not be developed immediately but will evolve in parallel with the ongoing Fragment Expansion rounds. As the DAO-based model solidifies, we will identify and implement necessary features. Once the community reaches a point where these features are needed, we will launch the new website at the appropriate time. All the art works on the current website will migrate to this new platform, shifting from a centralized curation model to an autonomous, DAO-based system. The Council will maintain its existing roles, without direct involvement in the new website’s development.

3. Fragment Expansion Operational Plan

Fragment Expansion will move to a quarterly operational structure. For each of the four rounds conducted annually, the Council will submit a proposal covering necessary expenses, including artist fees and Council compensation. At the end of each year, the community will vote on transitioning Fragment Expansion to a DAO-based model. If approved, we will adapt the operational model accordingly. Should Mr. Misang be unable to continue supporting curation, the Council will work with existing artists and holders to maintain a centralized structure until the DAO transition.

4. Final Stage Website

Currently, we operate multiple platforms, including the Ghost Project website, Mirror, Discord, and a light version of the Fragment Expansion page. However, we lack a dedicated platform tailored to Fragment Expansion’s final stage. To address this, we will gather detailed requirements and engage Web3 professionals (including planners, publishers, and developers) to create the final website. The Council will oversee proposal preparation for this development, while the development team handles end-to-end execution, incorporating artist feedback as needed. Once the platform is live, the Council will continue in an operational capacity.
